In this chapter we make some concluding remarks and introduce the institutional anchors that form an analytical tool for understanding family life in a turbulent era. Institutional anchors establish a set of mechanisms, rules and processes that act as anchors in everyday life. We reflect this concept through the findings of the chapters included in the volume. Finally, we make some concluding remarks and aim to contribute to the next decade’s research agenda related to families living in a turbulent era.
