<p>This article observes and constructs possibilities that drama methods may have for futures studies. By describing a few selected techniques from drama workshops, the article demonstrates how applied drama can function as a form of futures workshopping. Findings are constructed through two research paths or schemas. The first schema, supporting futures agency, explores how drama methods can support the development of futures agency, understood as a plural and holistic understanding that can influence a person's futures thinking and real-life actions. The second schema, in-depth futures knowing, depicts drama-based enquiries as a route for creating novel understanding through their ability to observe the world through subjective and imaginary perspectives.</p>
