Kuvaus

Focus of my research is planetary geophysics, reflectance spectroscopy, space weathering, impact processes, and space exploration. Together with members of my small Planetary Geophysics research group we try to understand planets and asteroids through laboratory experiments with meteorites and analysis of space mission observations. I am PI of the Milani CubeSat for ESA Hera mission, national Co-PI of the ESA Comet Interceptor mission, and a science team member of the BepiColombo MIXS instrument. I actively participate in undergraduate and doctoral education and student supervision. I teach courses on Planetary geophysics, Planetary exploration, and Cosmochemistry and origin of the Solar System.
