Ms Sanna Brauer (PhD, Educational Sciences) is a postdoctoral researcher at University of Oulu. She is a passionate developer and at home with early adopters. She explores digital pedagogy, competence-oriented continuous learning, and digital transformation in the world of work. She has over 60 publications positioning future theoretical and practical development efforts in competence renewal. Her doctoral dissertation (2019) was the first to address digital open badges and badge-driven learning. The European Union and European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training has frequently appointed her as external expert to provide opinions and advice on specific cases related to digital pedagogy. She is involved in various projects and national and international networks aiming to develop competence-based approaches and continuous learning.
