Suprun Kateryna

Kuvaus

Kateryna Suprun works as a Doctoral Researcher in Administrative Sciences at Tampere University. Her key responsibilities comprise research, teaching and project management. Within the framework of her doctoral research, she investigates the formulation, implementation and revival of the performance-based funding formula in the higher education system of Ukraine. Prior to this, Kateryna acquired progressively responsible experience as a civil servant at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. During this time, she contributed to launching digital transformation products and introducing system-wide reforms in public funding, qualifications recognition and quality assurance. She has also worked on emergency humanitarian planning and resource mobilisation and held various roles under the World Bank, the European Commission and the European Higher Education Area frameworks. Her research interests include public policy, crisis management, higher education funding, governance and management, and digital transformation. In her teaching capacity, Kateryna contributes to three courses in the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme "Research and Innovation in Higher Education" (MARIHE): "Analysis of Higher Education and Innovation Policies", "Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Education", and "Research and Innovation Management". Kateryna holds a joint MSc in Research and Innovation in Higher Education from Danube University Krems, Austria and Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
