Kehitämme kustannustehokkaita ja käytäntöön sovellettavissa olevia menetelmiä uhanalaisten, lahopuulla elävien kääpien palauttamiseksi sopiville kasvupaikoille. Ensisijainen tavoitteemme on edesauttaa seitsemän uhanalaisen käävän suojelua siirtoistuttamalla kääpiä sopiviin metsäkohteisiin niiden aiemmilla esiintymisalueilla. Hanke toteutetaan yhdessä metsäyhtiöiden ja luonnonsuojelusta vastuussa olevien tahojen kanssa. We will develop cost effective and implementable methods for reintroduction of threatened wood-inhabiting fungi. Our primary objective is to directly contribute to the conservation of seven species of threatened wood-decay fungi through successful reintroduction to suitable forests within their previous range. Throughout the project we will cooperate with forestry companies and stakeholders involved in nature conservation.
