The network data set used in the article "Separating Controversy from Noise: Comparison and Normalization of Structural Polarization Measures"

The data for "Separating Controversy from Noise: Comparison and Normalization of Structural Polarization Measures" -paper The data set is described in the article [1] and [2]. Please cite the original article(s) when using this data set. The data set consists of 183 topic endorsement networks inferred from Twitter interactions during the 2019 Finnish Elections. Nodes are accounts and undirected ties indicate uni- or bi-directional endorsement via retweets on the given topic. Please see the references for details. No identifying information nor original raw data from the Twitter platform is included here. See the network_info.csv for more details on each network. The "_p1" extension in the filename means that the network was built based on tweets from period 1 (similar for "_p2" and "_p3"). More details about the periods in [1]. The networks are formatted as edge lists, where each row in the file is an edge connecting the two nodes indicated by the two numbers separated by a whitespace. [1] Chen, Ted Hsuan Yun, et al.
