Mechanisms of Mg carbonates precipitation and implications for CO2 capture and utilization/storage

The current metafile aims at explaining the open data related to the thermodynamic discussion presented in the review paper: “Mechanisms of Mg carbonates precipitation and implications for CO2 capture and utilization/storage”, published at Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers in 2023 by H. S. Santos, H. Nguyen, F. Venâncio, D. Ramteke, R. Zevenhoven, and P. Kinnunen. DOI: 10.1039/d2qi02482a The open data explained in this metafile refers to the Figure 10 of the review paper. The thermodynamic data gathered from different databases are expressed as logK, in function of the temperature and the searched database. The files are provided as .dat files, using tab as separator. If the searched database did not present any data on the given mineral, the column was left unfilled. The calculated standard entropy is also provided as separated .dat file, showing the calculated entropy and its standard deviation in function of the molar volume. Finally, a summary of the molar volume versus the standard entropy of each dolomite specie is also provided.
