This dataset gives information about modelled significant wave height events exceeding 2.5 m, 4 m and 7 m over the Baltic Sea. The maximum value of significant wave height of each event where given threshold is exceeded is saved together with the time and duration of the events (as hours since 1/1/1993). Also, peak period and corresponding direction of the waves is given at time of maximum wave height. Dataset is calculated for time period of 1/1/1993 to 31/12/2021 from Baltic Sea Wave Hindcast by Copernicus Marine Services (https://doi.org/10.48670/moi-00014).
