Input and output data for the first PALM-SLUrb v24.04 evaluation

The repository contains input and output data for simulations evaluation PALM-SLUrb model version 24.04. The corresponding job generation and analysis codes are stored at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14335750. The data directory should be placed or linked to the root of the analysis code directory in order to reproduce the analysis. The model code as used in the evaluation is stored at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14221083. Raw and interim data used in the job generation are stored in the directories "raw" and "interim" respectively. The PALM model input and output data are stored individually for each job under the "job" directory, following PALM naming standards. Both input and output binary files are given in a standard netCDF4 data format. The output file names have the following pattern: jobname_otype(_av).cyclenum.nc, where jobname is the name of the job, otype is the output type suffix "_av" signifying a temporally averaged output and cyclenum being the number of the restart cycle. The following output types are present: 3d: three dimensional volume data ts: time series data pr: profile data topo_surf: surface representation output surf: surface output xy: xy cross section xz: xz cross section yz: yz cross section The dataset contains modified European Union's Copernicus Land Monitoring Service and Copernicus Climate Change Service information 2020. Neither the European Commission nor ECMWF is responsible for any use that may be made of the Copernicus information or data it contains.
