Metadata for article "In Situ Observation of Sustainable Hematite–Magnetite–Wüstite–Iron Hydrogen Plasma Reduction"

Kuvaus

The research was conducted at the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials, Düsseldorf (then Max Planck Institute for Iron Research) in collaboration with the University of Oulu, Finland. The objective of the study was to identify the time evolution of atomic iron and molecular FeO with plasma imaging and optical emission spectroscopy. The long-term goal is to develop an in situ measurement method for hydrogen plasma smelting reduction with real-time analysis capability. The details of the plasma reactor, spectrometer, and camera together with detailed experiment steps are described in the publication (10.1007/s11663-025-03610-y). The data comprises of plasma reactor data (descriptive text and images), OES spectra (.fits [raw data], .asc [exported data]), and videos (.avi). The data may be made available upon reasonable request from the authors.
