Metadata for article "Effect of Furnace Parameters on Optical Emission Spectra of Hematite Reduction by Hydrogen Plasma"

Kuvaus

The measurements were made at the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials, Germany (then Max Planck Institute for Iron Research) in collaboration with the University of Oulu, Finland. The objective was to study how furnace parameters, such as arc length and current, affect the optical emissions of hydrogen plasma smelting reduction (HPSR). In the long-term, the goal is to develop an optical emission spectroscopy based analysis method for HPSR. The description of the furnace, spectrometer and camera in addition to the process steps is included in the publication (10.1007/s11663-025-03552-5). The data consists of OES spectra (.raw8, .raw8x [raw data], .txt [converted data]) and videos (.mov). Additionally, laboratory journals were made in Excel (.xlsx). NOTE: only metadata is published here. The data is available by request from authors.
